Charleston Pride Week 2015 concludes with the official after party of Charleston Pride: A Cause To Celebrate! This is one party you won’t want to miss as we cap off eight full days of events! A Cause To Celebrate takes place following the Get Hitched Wedding Expo at Memminger Auditorium on Saturday, August 1st. The doors open at 9 PM and the party continues until 2 AM!
A Cause To Celebrate features some local favorites, including tunes by DJ Trevor D. and the incomparable Miss Patti O'Furniture as your hostess for the evening, along with artists never before seen in Charleston! Headlining the evening will be none-other than Steve Grand and Eryn Woods! Other special guest entertainment will be announced soon!
Steve Grand has been featured on Good Morning America and CNN following the release of his debut album “All American Boy”. The album marked one of the most successful musical Kickstarter campaigns. The title track from the album has received over four million views on YouTube. Eryn Woods has been dominating the pop punk scene with her unique style and voice. Her music has recently been featured on VH1 and MTV.
Morgan McMichaels joined the cast of the second season of RuPaul’s in 2010. Morgan, along with fellow contestants Raven, Jujubee, and Pandora Boxx appeared in RuPaul’s Drag U, a spinoff Logo series in summer 2010. In 2011, McMichaels was featured in the music video “S&M” by Barbadian singer Rihanna, which was released as the third single off her fifth album Loud.
Morgan is the drag daughter of renowned performer Chad Michaels, who appeared at Charleston Pride 2013! She joined the cast of the second season of RuPaul’s Drag U, which made its season premiere on June 20, 2011. Morgan makes her debut in Charleston for Charleston Pride 2015 during the After Party: A Cause To Celebrate!
